Globalization is “…all those processes by which the peoples of the world are incorporated into a single world society.” (Week 3 PowerPoint) and Empire is a complex, large scale political organization containing a number of subject peoples who are different ethnically, culturally, linguistically, or otherwise from the dominant political community (Week 3 PowerPoint). It is important to know first that what contributes to the process of globalization. The factors that lead to globalization are mainly wars, trade, conquests, and explorations and all this is only possible when empires indulged themselves into this.
